Abandoned Baby Girl

I adopted an abandoned baby Chinese girl. The reason for this is because of my past history. I was too an abandoned girl and I know the pain of growing up without a family; I did not wish this to happen to anyone else. After hearing about the many abandoned girls in China I just had to help.

After much correspondence with an adoption organization me and my husband were finally given the chance to meet our baby girl. When I held my girl for the very first time it was an incredibly emotional experience. It was very joyous and I wept. I couldn't believe that I would soon have my own daughter, who I named Ling.

If I could go back in time I reckon I would adopt sooner. The experience has made me a more complete person. It has now been a year and me, my husband and Ling are all living in incredible happiness. International adoption is possibly the best decision I have ever made.
